During the course of his lengthy career, sculptor Kari Huhtamo has always been extremely open-minded with his methods and materials, as well as a true experimenter. Textiles have been no exception.
The exhibition “Textiles by a Sculptor” opens up new perspectives in terms of the significance of the materials, the creative process and the self-imposed visual language of Huhtamo’s style.
The exhibition is linked to the seminar on textile arts on the 22nd Feb 2017, which is realized by the Kari Huhtamo Art Foundation in association with the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lapland.
The exhibition opening will be held on the 22nd February at 17:00. Welcome!
You may attend the exhibition during Mon-Fri from 8:00 to 20:30 and on Sat from 9:00 to 16:00.
